El 8 de septiembre la serie animada de Pokémon cumple 20 años, desde su estreno en territorio americano. Y para celebrarlo Twitch en conjunto con The Pokémon Company International realizarán una maratón, de los 932 episodios y todas las películas, a través de Twitch Presents. Los usuarios de la plataforma podrán participar por “medallas Pokémon” por medio de las extensiones de Twitch. Así como también participar con miles de personas en el chat.
La transmisión, que inició hoy, será de las más largas que se hayan presentado a través de la plataforma. Esto debido a que se extenderá hasta el 2019 (primer trimestre aproximadamente). La transmisión estará organizada de la siguiente manera:
De lunes a jueves se presentarán 13 episodios desde las 12:00pm (hora de Colombia) hasta las 6:00pm. Como es costumbre los viernes y sábados se repetirá la tanda del a semana en uno de los canales Always On de Twitch (/twitchpresents2). Los domingos serán dedicados de forma exclusiva a la retransmisión de las películas desde las 12:00pm en el orden que fueron estrenadas.
